On our Sunday stroll for a spot of luncheon we chanced upon this rather scumptious new arrival on route to Peckham Rye. That's the spendid thing about my SE23 home patch - an abundance of fine eateries and cake pitstops keep evolving to dash any sniff of the word "slimming"..
Norris & Knight has only been open three weeks on Forest Hill Road and I can't even find any mention of them out there in the big bad internet world but they're deffo worth a look-in. It's a cute little cafe, thoughtfully decked out with around 6 tables inside and a seating outdoors in the quaint walled garden with both vegetable patches and three chickens to keep you company - the food is THAT fresh!
Melt-in-the-mouth homemade quiche, roasted vegetable and mozzarella paninis, chocolate brownies as big as your arm and a mighty-fine hot chocolate. We will most certainly be back.
